Planting herbs from seed 🤔
Hi everyone! In my previous post I mentioned that growing kit I’m trying. But now I see some mold appearing with each of them. Is that normal, or was it too old seeds in the kit, or is it something else? #Seedlings #Herbs #NewGrowth #PlantAddict

This is a combination of the soil staying too wet and poor air flow. Try to let the soil dry out a bit between waterings. You don't want to let it completely dry out, but you also don't want it constantly soggy. Aim for keeping it lightly and evenly moist. Think of how a dish sponge feels after wringing it out—that's the level of moisture you want. It's also helpful to water using a squeeze bottle with a very narrow spout, which lets you have a lot more control. They sell them in garden centers of any big box store or on Amazon. They look like the one in the photo.
