Is this scale??
I noticed this lead felt sticky and when I took a closer look, I saw this underneath! I didn’t know what it was but I freaked out, chopped off the leaf, rinsed the whole plant thoroughly, and sprayed it down with Sexy Plant Juice. Then after a few minutes, I wiped down the leaves.i checked the rest of the plant and didn’t see anymore. I also checked the neighboring plants and didn’t see any on them either.
Did I overreact??

Looks like soft scale. Scale are pretty easy to remove, so you probably didn't need to remove the entire leaf, but it's just one leaf so not a huge deal. Keep an eye on it and any plants near it. Might also be a good idea to spray down the other plants and hit them with some insecticidal soap just as a preventative measure.
