Peperomia Hope

Hi plant people πŸͺ΄ do y’all think I should trim my peperomia hope? Her vines have become very stretchy since she was away from the window.. but I’ve moved her directly under the window now, so she gets plenty of light. However, would it be better to trim her, to encourage bushier growth? If so, how? #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #Peperomia
@EatMoreVeggies Hi welcome to Greg πŸ™Œ If it was mine I’d cut the longer vine’s back and root them to add back to pot . And the answer to your question is yes it will help it get bushy. It’s quite nice just the way it is though. Good luck in whatever you decide too do
@ILoveMyPlants thanks! Do I just pop them in water to propagate or else? I like how she looks like, but I’d like her to produce big leaves instead of longer vines..
I think it depends on the look you want! I think it looks really cool this way! I love my hopes- one of my favorite plants!
@EatMoreVeggies I do water props but @DreamMachine gave me a handy dandy trick to put in a plastic baggie with perlite and blow in the bag for moisture. Or you can moisten the perlite like a rinse off and do same baggy trick . Good luck I’m sure you’ll do well
Beautiful!
@ILoveMyPlants @EatMoreVeggies haha I love my perlite and ziplock bags πŸ™Œ They grow roots that are more like soil roots in perlite, you don’t have to change any scuzzy water (or forget to 🀫), and they’re in their own humidity bubble 🫧 in the ziplock bag.

Wash the perlite in warm water in the bag. Try to drain all the water. Place cuttings in the bag. Blow up the bag and seal it. Place bag in bright area but not direct sun. In a month, more or less you have roots.
@DreamMachine Well you certainly have more hot air than me 🀣
@ILoveMyPlants bahahahaha πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
@ILoveMyPlants hey! Sorry if I’m being a little slow but could you explain the baggie tip a little more? Like what plants does it work with? Do you blow in it every day or just re moisten it when it gets dry and do you put it in the sun?
Thank you! Sorry for all the questions πŸ˜…
@ILoveMyPlants sorry I didn’t see the whole big post 😬
