I think I messed up my watchchain :(

So I recently got a kitten, and she seems hellbent on reaching my plant shelf and nibbling them. I sprayed some vinegar on my watchchain to deter her because -to absolutely no-ones surprise- she wants to eat one of my toxic ones! However, I came to realize that I shouldn’t have sprayed vinegar on him, he started wilting and has this strange musky smell whenever I get close. Will he be okay? This was my first plant, and I feel terrible for messing with him like this :( #PlantAddict #planthelp #SucculentLove

I did something similar where my bleach spray and bug spray look similar πŸ˜¬πŸ˜‚.

What I did was was my crassula under some water (or shower head) to wash it off dry ir out as best. I can and then placed in front of a fan to continue drying out and it seems to be ok.
I'm sorry that happened @KeenGrugrupalm. I think you're supposed to spray stuff on the pot, not the plant itself. I've never had to deal with this myself so I'm sorry I couldn't be more helpful. I hope it is fine or bounces back.
@FairyFly No, I definitely should’ve thought that one through lol. I agree though, hopefully my lack of awareness doesn’t punish this little guy :’) thanks so much for your concern!
Well @KeenGrugrupalm, you're more experienced now I guess.
@TheLonelyDaff Thank you so much!! Going to do that right now :)
It’s because it’s dying @KeenGrugrupalm ! Or it’s just smelly do what @TheLonelyDaff sais
@Crystalplant15 I actually took the plunge yesterday and pruned all the affected leaves, and I’m hoping to propagate the ones that aren’t unhealthy. I’ve heard that they aren’t too hard to propagate, so I’m hoping I can bring my guy back to his former glory!
