If your succulent is drooping, it’s often a sign of overwatering or insufficient light. Succulents store water in their leaves, so they prefer the soil to dry out completely between waterings. Make sure it’s in a well-draining pot, and avoid letting it sit in standing water. Place it in a spot where it gets plenty of bright, indirect sunlight, as too much shade can make it weak and droopy. If the roots are soggy or rotting, repot the plant with fresh, dry soil and trim any damaged roots. With a little care, your succulent should bounce back beautifully! 🌵
That is mostly right @Kingdoubletap1. Your succulent is definitely etiolated (stretched) looking for more light, that's why it's so tall instead of compact. Some more sensitive succulents need indirect light but echeveria love lots of direct light. A south facing window or the brightest window you have. And yes, wait for the soil to dry COMPLETELY and check before watering.
It needs more light. I know it's in a bright windowsill, but echeverias are super pucky about light. I use a growlight, and it's helping a little. @SpicyJalapeño It was in a non breathable pot for the beginning of its life so that may be the case. Now that it’s in a new pot with better soil I’m wondering if just trimming it is in order to give it a better chance/ reset.
@FairyFly The window it’s currently on is the brightest in the house. I will try one other one. I usually follow the Greg plant reminders for watering. It gets watered every 12-14 days roughly.
@SimpleSucc I have them right by where I sleep. I’ll place it in a different window and see how the new pot/soil/warmer weather here in a bit treats it.
