Sunburn

Hello, everyone. I’ve had my baby for almost a year now with no problems. I recently sat her in a west facing window that gets very harsh light during the afternoon. I’ve noticed some leaves are browning as well as the tips are getting crispy. I want her to stay in this window but I’m scared she might continue to decline. Any suggestions other than move her?
2ft to light, direct
6” pot without drainage

@GreenThumbBabe I would put up a sheer curtain or move her back a little from the window. πŸͺŸ
No plants other then cactus like west window. Tent your window. Can’t put plants in a west window to hot to intense for everything other than succulents and cactus
@StoriedTievine4 My other plants are loving the hot light. Tropicals do fine in the heat/harsh light. A few cactus and succulents in the mix as well. 😊
@DreamMachine great idea! Thank you.
Your tag says it’s in a pot without drainage- if so- it needs a pot with drainage. Ponytails are also sensitive to Flouride and Chlorine in tap water- where I live the tap is horrible so I fill a milk gallon and let it sit open for 24 hours and then water. M 4 ponytails are on east facing back patio- they get morning sun but absolutely no afternoon (after 1-2pm) sun- Texas is too hot and they get sunburn. If your leaves turn yellow then brown- most likely overwatering. If the tips are brown and crispy- they need more water. You can trim the brown tips off- but don’t cut into the green healthy- leave just a little brown . My big one has gotten too much water from all the rain we’ve had so she’s stressing 😣
