I see fungus at the base. I would dig it out and check out the roots. If there is root rot, cut off the bad ones and spritz with hydrogen peroxide or soak in a diluted cup of it. Then, depending on how the roots are, you can repot in well draining soil and make sure that you allow it to dry out between watering. Or if they are really rough, you can allow it to water propagate for a bit until it grows some healthy roots. Make sure not to submerge the leaves and change the water frequently. Good luck
