I hate that they sell these heart leaves … if it wasent planted with a node it will just remain a heart for a period and then die off.. I had two heart leaves one for 3 years until it finally died. Unless it has a node it will just be one leaf for the duration of its life … they are cute this way but they don’t last a long time. I’m surprised mine did for so long .
I would make sure it’s actually rooted love !
I’ve heard that a lot of these Hoya’s, in particular, don’t always root and it’s just the leaf. So it’ll just dye off eventually.
If it is rooted then amazing ! Next thing I would try to do is get a soil checker (or a chop stick if you don’t have the money for a electric one) it may be that you’re Hoya isn’t getting enough water ! I know a lot of new plant parents on here wanna follow the watering schedule to a T but honeslty the best way to water is by listening to your plant ! If the soil is completely dry then it probably needs more water !
I also don’t know if you’ve tried any plant food but that would probably also be something good to invest in ! Particularly one curated for succulents/cacti 🫢
@PlantDaddy02 I’ve had it for over a year, I gave it new soil about 2 weeks ago and it just decided to start dying.
@strawberry5020 Why did you decide to repot ?
Was it just time for new soil ? What does she look like today ?
Sorry, that was a lot of questions at once. It honestly could just be stressed from the soil change love :) Give it a few days, if it starts turning dark green again then you’re good. If you start seeing browing however, it probably needs some serious TLC. I would do some independent research as well tho ! 😊
They’re a bit trickier to find, but try finding a hoya kerrii with nodes (more than one leaf), they’re an actual plant rather than a zombie leaf. A trick with hoyas too is to feel the leaves to tell if they need watering. Kerrii are quite stiff hoyas so its a bit easier to tell when they need watering, their leaves will be a bit bendier
