@dreaarosee I haven’t grown them in water. I have propagated a few, and their roots will take off and they’re kinda wiry, so I dunno long term. Buuuut, I will tell you something I learned recently, after I had this plant and killed it πŸ˜‚ These guys like more sun than you think, but not direct sun. And, they like an airy chunky soil that the water can run right through. Your soil looks a little heavy in the photo. Once I switched to an airy soil on my peperomias (ruby cascade, emerald ripple, hope, beetle, string of turtles, teardrop)… they perked right up and started to take off.
Pictured is the main plant in soil that has a chunk now missing πŸ˜… other picture shows the one in water. Today I noticed it's standing straight up and the leaves are stiff like the day I brought it home! What gives?
@TheOddAsity I'm definitely planning to repot in a smaller pot and I will take the opportunity to switch to an airy soil. Thanks a bunch! Hoping to keep this one and the other I have alive πŸ˜…
@dreaarosee I wish you luck! They’re such pretty plants
