Help! It dried in two weeks

Hello all, I need your help here. My bougainvillea dried in a timespan of two weeks. It's losing all the flowers and leaves. I water it once a week and it was good until I left it unnatended for two weeks and now it's sad. #Bougainvillea
2ft to light, direct
8” pot with drainage
Last watered 6 months ago
They really do not do well inside at all… they need sun… lots of sun!!!!
Hi! So two things - like @Hoyaobsessed said they want a ton of light and not a lot of water (actually they’ll bloom the most when they’re super hot and super dry). But the other thing is that flowers die all the time anyway. Even if the main plant is healthy. So just because a flower dies and falls off it doesn’t mean that the whole plant is dying.
hi :)
bougains are very demanding about their sun time. it needs direct sunlight every day. it won't die without it, but won't flower and may lose some leaves. they're also big drinkers and I give mine about 500ml two times a week. if not, they have a tantrum like yours. but they're very resilient, so keep watering yours back on schedule and I'm sure it will be happy again
