I have 2 cuttings from a friend that I’ve put in water to root. They’ve not rooted at all after 2 months (!) but have grown a bunch new leaves (I had trimmed the leaves down). How can I get them to root so I can plant them?

change the water then add some rooting hormone to the water. You can buy some online. Various articles and websites have recommendations for the best rooting hormone.

They just take months to root. I have some as well that I am rooting. Patience is absolutely necessary. Just keep the water fresh and wait it out. It will happen but it usually takes several months.

3 months is the minimum but the reality is these guys take 4 or more months to root under ideal conditions.
