@SmartSweetflag1 , possibly too much water. If the soil is wet I may suggest repotting. Get a paper towel and gently dry the roots. Repot with have fresh soil . You may also want to get a pH meter. That will measure how high the alkalinity or acidity is in the soil. This is often overlooked by gardeners. A pH meter also measures the moisture content in the soil. They could be purchased on Amazon or any large gardening store like Lowes. You can find the ideal pH for your soil and adjusted accordingly. I hope this helps. Good luck. πβοΈπ
