Amazing growth! How can I help?
Hey plant buddies!ππͺ΄π± Iβve had this amazing snake plant for 18 months now and after about two months of adopting her she grew two new sprouts that are now 22 and 28 inches tall!! And now about a month ago she grew yet another sprout! And then two more are growing from the inside of older shoots!! Sheβs had such great growth ever since I adopted her and Iβm wondering if itβs time to repot (she is in a plastic 6incherπ
that has drainage) would it be safe, necessary, and helpful if I did? And any other tips to help her thrive to the best of my abilityβs?
4ft to light, direct
6β pot without drainage

@Plant_Cuddler I really like your questions about whether it would be safe, necessary, and helpful for your snake plant π₯° Gives me the warm fuzzies!
Now for repotting: snake plants donβt need frequent repotting, but you can always check the roots. If you can slide the soil out of the pot a bit and you see ALL roots, I might think about repotting. Iβll only repot if the roots are causing them to bust at the seams so to speak. But if you only see a medium to low amount, I would hold off repotting, since they are growing so nicely.
And just FYI, After a repot, there is usually a lull in growth, because they will then try to fill out their pot with more roots before they focus on more foliage.
