@CaringMarimo51 it sounds like it is undergoing some stress perhaps. has it been getting a draft from somewhere? They don’t like fluctuations and temperatureπŸ€”
@Arid_oasis thank you I think your right because I have them in my room but sense the sun mostly hits my room it starts to get hotter throughout the day
@Arid_oasis if I keep the room in a stable temperature should it go back to being normal?
@CaringMarimo51 Did you put the rocks on top of the soil pretty recently and were the plants doing better before the addition of them? I ask because I've noticed that when they are used they tend to keep moisture in the soil and Ponytail palms like to dry out and that might be preventing them from doing that as quickly as it would like. Just a thought.
@CaringMarimo51 sorry that I haven’t been on Greg in a week or so, they light colored leaves and the way they leaves on the top of the plant are flat instead of pointing up before they trail down makes me believe that Heidi @princesspitstop is correct. It has been over watered. I would remove the rocks and repot it in fresh soil or allow it to completely dry out before watering it again. If you do repot it, don’t water it for several days to a week afterwards so it can recover. Good Luck! πŸͺ΄πŸŒΊ
