I see new growth, but some leaves are turning a reddish orange. Is that normal? I'm new at this and this was my grandma's plant who passed, so she needs to live on in memory. Thanks

Could you maybe post a picture of the colored leaves? It could be either sun stress, which is totally normal, or from something negative like overwatering or underwatering. 
Posting a picture would just help clarify the diagnosis :)
