So many questions!
#Peperomia #advice propagating">#propagating First, is this the correct plant type? I have no idea what it is but was given some cuttings that I rooted in water for a little more than a month. I just planted in a well draining mix about 10 days ago and gave it a good drink 4 days ago. Any advice on care? Does it look correct? Some of the leaves are turning light green/yellow and mushy and easily plucked from the stem (which I have been doing). Third photo is the original plant that the cuttings came from. #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #HappyPlants #PlantAddict #

@Ejd5775 Yup, thatβs definitely giving Peperomia rotundifolia vibes (aka trailing jade)! These cuties are low-key divas when transitioning from water to soil they get root shock fast. Those mushy, yellowing leaves? Thatβs their version of a dramatic faint. Ease up on watering Since she just left her water spa life, her roots are still adjusting. Wait till the top inch of soil feels dry before giving her another drink.
2. Poke check time Gently use a toothpick or wooden skewer to check for soggy spots deeper down in the pot. If it comes up wet or super dark, let her dry more. Think of it as a root mood detector.
3. Humidity matters They love a lil humidity, but not wet feet. You can mist around her, not on her leaves, or place her near a pebble tray.
4. Leaf drop? Totally normal She might shed some leaves during the adjustment period, but keep plucking the mushy ones to avoid rot spreading.
5. Root booster option A tiny dab of natural root stimulator (or even a willow water soak next time) can help toughen her up.
6. Light = glow up fuel Bright, indirect light is her best friend. Too dark and sheβll stretch and pout, too harsh and sheβll crisp. Youβre doing great, and so is she just needs a minute to recalibrate from her full makeover moment Hang in there, plant parent! You got this
