My peace lily is so droopy! I keep watering it and it won...
6ft to light, indirect
6β pot with drainage

Whenever a plant looks sick I start by checking the roots. Peace lilies often droop when thirsty but if overwatered the roots can rot and they canβt recover. Take it out and if you have any black mushy roots that is the culprit. To save the plant, gently remove as much dirt as possible use a clean shears or scissors (wipe with rubbing alcohol to cut off the rot. Repot in fresh, well aerated soil (for example, mix potting soil with perlite and orchid bark so air can travel to those roots) in a pot just a bit bigger than the root ball. Make sure you use a pot with good drainage on the bottom! Bottom water it (set the draining pot in a bowl or pan of water - if tap, let it sit 24 hours first to dechlorinate) so it can pull up just what it needs. Only water when the soil is truly dry at least halfway down. I like a clear draining plastic nursery pot so I can see the soil, and after watering I put the whole thing in a pretty ceramic pot thatβs a bit bigger around. Also for the record - my first two lasted a couple years each and just didnβt make it. I kept trying and now I have a couple of varieties that Iβve had for many years - but I check them and refresh the soil every year.
