Zebra calatheas prefer bright, filtered light rather than direct sunlight. This can be achieved by placing them near a north or east-facing window, or using curtains to diffuse light from south or west-facing windows

@SuperVelvetleaf AM sun is much gentler than PM sun, so it would depend on your climate whether an east-facing window is too much for it. I've kept several "indirect light" plants in east-facing windows and they've been fine. If the leaves show signs of wilting or brown edges after receiving direct morning light, then you'll know it's too much.
