Welcome to Greg Behnaz from Iran! π
Sorry your plant isnβt feeling well. βΉοΈ The brown spot on the leaves, surrounded by a yellow halo is called leaf spot. Itβs like a common cold and itβs very common in the wintertime. Every plant parent has seen this on their houseplant. Unfortunately itβs contagious just like a common cold, so keep it away from your other plants in your oasis. Itβs caused by a fungal or bacterial infection due to overwatering, poor drainage, low humidity, and poor air circulation, usually caused by plant overcrowding.
π₯ Donβt worry. You can nurse your plant baby back to health in no time.
βοΈ Surgery: Remove the infected leaves, to keep it from spreading and throw it away.
β«οΈ Use a fungicide for house plants or Neem Oil.
πΉ Avoid getting the leaves wet.
π§Avoid overwatering
Always check the moisture in the soil with a moisture meter or use your index finger. Water only when the top (2.54-5.08cm or 1-2 inches) of the soil feels dry. During the winter time, tropical plants need less and less water. So your frequency of watering will decrease. Make sure the top soil feels dry.
π I hope your Ficus Tree will make a speedy recovery.
