Dead plant

Question

Hi, so this here is Emily, she WAS an African marigold a long time ago, but I’m pretty sure she’s dead now. Ive tried everything I could to revive her, but I think it might be too late. I just wanted to ask if there is anything I can do for her at this point or if she’s just toast :(

yeah she looks pretty gone, i’m sorry. you could check the roots and see if they’re salvageable at all? if they are, continue to gently nurse the plant back to health! i doubt they are though 😬 death is part of of the natural cycle of life!!

@Jigsaw_Puzzle 😭 I think she’s dead. 
But it kinda looks like she wasn’t getting enough water, and/or was receiving too much sunlight

@Jigsaw_Puzzle if any part of the roots are white and strong, it’s salvageable! if they’re brown at all or weak/crispy/dry, they’re gone 😔
