A drooping leaf on my Alocasia Frydek Variegata.
The most variegated leaf on my Alocasia Frydek Variegata is hanging down and it is turning brown on the edges.
Should I cut it off or should I leave it
on the plant? #Alocasia #variegated

@ProCucumber68 okay, this possibly looks like root rot. Can you tell me about the substrate itβs in, how often youβre watering, and how much light itβs getting? These plants are *very* difficult to keep happy. Iβve had to restart my regular Frydek a couple of times!
I use a soil mix consisting of 50% houseplant soil and 50% perlite. However, the plant has produced a new, very large, healthy, and beautiful leaf over the last two weeks, and only that single leaf is affected. Also, healthy little roots have been poking out of the drainage holes for a few days now; so, I don't really think it's root rotβit's more likely that the leaf simply sustained some minor damage. What do you think? By the way, thanks for your comments.
