Hybrid Alop Pup

I have never had a pup before, is this little guy big enough for his own pot? If so, how do I remove him? One of the aloe arms from the main plant had to be removed. Does that mean he’s not healthy enough?

Once one pup pops up, it's only a matter of time before you are overrun! So congrats. Lol. I'd separate him and plunk him in his own soil. With regular aloe, they live through practically anything, so try not worry!
Yay!! It's a happy plant! Great job taking care of it!

I would wait until the pup is at least 1/3 the size of the mother plant. Then, if you WANT to repot it, you'll need to sever it from its mother with a sharp knife and slice off the stem that has grown the pup -- just gently saw between the pup and the mother plant.

You don't have to wait until it's 100% heathy, a droopy leaf won't make much of a different. But letting it stay attached for as long as possible will produce a healthier pup.

Personally, I love a full pot! Let me see if I can find a picture of the one I just repotted.
It's not a super-good picture (it was mid-repot). But there are about seven plants in ther!
So happy!!!
@sarahsalith gave it to an office mate and told her not to plant until it scabs.
Off on a new adventure
Woo hoo!! That looks great!
