I would do a small scratch test on the main trunk to see if it’s still alive. Gently scratch the bark with your nail; if it's green under the bark, it's alive, but if it's brown, it might be dead.
If it’s still green continue watering it and make sure sure it gets plenty of light. Most bonsai do better outdoors, don’t move it around too often as it will add stress.
