It tolerates low light, and grows well in medium or bright light. (Try to avoid a spot where it gets a lot of afternoon sun, however. Its lush green leaves are susceptible to sunburn.) Water mandarin plant when the top inch or so of the potting mix dries to the touch.
Keep this plant consistently moist, away from direct sunlight and cold temperatures to maintain its colour and prevent leaves turning black. Avoid root rot by checking the first two inches of soil for moisture before watering. If the soil feels dry, its time to water!

These guys are great! If it starts to droop, it most likely is thirsty, give it a cup and it’ll perk back but. Water when top two inches are dry
