If you don’t have anything other than the nursery pot- yes you can put it back in there. Terracotta or Clay pots are best for these as they provide good air circulation, thus preventing root rot. In plastic- make sure there are enough holes for the water to drain out the bottom.

Forgot to add- cactus/succulent soil mix (you can get at Home Depot pretty cheap) , and add some perlite if you can- that would be great choice for soil. 😊
