Ahhhh I broke it in 12 hours during transport to my office, Any advice to keep the whole plant from dying since I already broke a leaf?

If that’s just a leaf that broke, the rest of the plant will be fine.-if that’s what you’re asking. The leaf end will die off and you’ll have half a leaf. You can just cut it off at the base.

That, my friend @CleverJubaea99 looks like a croton! I believe a Petra if I’m not mistaken, Codiaeum variegatum 'Petra.’ It is very common for them to drop leaves during transport, or at home too. They are a bit finicky, but I kind of treat them like a cat 😅 Yours will grow back leaves, but make sure you are watering enough, they are very thirsty plants! That also seems to be their MO regarding pests, they throw all their leaves on the ground if they receive a single spider mite, or other pest, bite. 😂 good luck, I adore crotons 🥰
