It won’t freeze if you do it indoors. One of the biggest things we don’t consider is the lack of light our plants are getting. They really need around the click lighting to make up for the low light they get from outdoors.
It’s not easy to tell what’s harkening unless you check the roots for root rot of soaking wet soil or pests or fungus. I’d start by pulling it up and checking the roots then taking it from there. Check your watering schedule and re-pot with fresh soil and a sanitized pot to give it a good start. Your soul could be depleted and you won’t know until the decline happens.
