Anyone know whatβs up with my peperomia?
The leaves keep curling and the edges are tearing. Does it need more humidity? Itβs in an IKEA cabinet that isnβt weather stripped with a grow light. humidity is around 60% most of the time (Iβm in Houston, TX so itβs always humid here) #PlantAddict #Peperomia #helpneeded #GreggersSupportingGreggers #PlantsMakePeopleHappy

Distorted leaves are caused by overwatering.
I definitely wouldn't water every 8 days with her in a humidity cabinet.
They are semi succulent and hold water in their leaves. Too much water within the cells causes those cells to get too full. They then bust causing damage to the leaf.
I go weeks in between watering my peperomias, watermelon included. I wait until the are 100% dry, if in doubt I wait even longer.
They hate being overwatered. They actually don't need extra humidity. I would not keep her in the humidity cabinet. Her soil will stay too wet for too long. Normal room humidity is fine for these.

@SuperbRaspfern I only water her when sheβs completely dry. But Iβll move her out of the cabinet for sure. Thanks!
@JackHenrysMom Your welcome, I think you'll notice a big difference outside of the cabinet β€οΈ
