Avocados can be a little tricky. The browning of the edges can be a pathogen infection, and/or even humidity. This is what I’ve used on my avocados. I had some similar issues and honestly a couple of β€˜cados lost all their leaves πŸƒ and kinda died off a little. But now they’ve all come back more leafy and healthier than when they arrived. https://a.co/d/0fLWtrGN I completely understand not wanting to remove the leaves; but remember the plant will focus its energy on trying to repair the damaged and dead areas.. which you might want to instead remove the dead and work on it that way. You can also trim off the brown on the leaves and leave them then clean them, I use We the Wild as my leaf cleaner but I also spray my leaves as well as dilute that pesticide and water them that way as well. πŸ˜‰ I hope I’m making sense??
Thank you. I’ve had so many problems growing Avocado plants, in Texas for gosh sake! I haven’t trimmed the infected leaves yet but that will be the next thing I do. I loaded the link you sent so I’ll check it out. I’ll let you know.
