Does anyone know why my zebra calathea is turning yellow ...

#ZebraCalathea
18ft to light, indirect
6” pot with drainage
Last watered 1 year ago
It’s humidity #Calathea can be viciously grumpy 😑 when they don’t have enough humidity. Put it close to a humidifier and it should get better.

It could also be underwatering, I suggest you get a moisture meter, it works well!

Or get the next best thing, Chinese food! Ok no but get some Chinese it’s good, but all you need is the chopstick. it’s simple how it works, if it’s clean give it a glug, if it’s dirty just wait

And the next best thing, YOU! Ok no but just your finger in and it gets a bit messy. Same thing as chopstick, if it’s clean give it a glug, if it’s dirty just wait πŸ˜€
@ellet hope your cathlea gets better!
Don't think humidity is an issue as I live in Singapore where we get 2 tanks of water from dehumidifier and I dont have that in the room where the plant is.
