@QuemefulSedum unless you live the proper zones for your specific H. species, I’d bring it in. You’ll have to research for your species and its characteristics and needs. Depending on which species you have and your zone for that plant: they have a great range example
Hardiness Zones 4 through 11. Zone 4 is the coldest zone where hibiscus are found. Winter temperatures in this zone are known to drop to minus 20 F. Only the hardiest perennial hibiscus are able to withstand these severe temperatures. Kopper King is a perennial hibiscus that, in this growth zone, dies back to the ground each winter but reemerges to bloom again in spring. Other cool weather hibiscus include common rose mallow (Hibiscus moscheutos) and Rose of Sharon (H. syriacus).

Yeah there wasn’t a tag specifically identifying it when I bought it, I’m guessing β€˜hardy’ means the length of growth time, Greg just identified it as Chinese Habiscus. I believe I’m in zone 9 (Pontiac, Mi) and it definitely gets cold in the winter, 0-20F often times. I should probably pull it when it’s time, I’d hate to take the chance. Thank you!

@PlantOneMore thank you! these are my girls ❀️ I don’t know if you can tell what kind they are just by a picture (?) it gets below freezing here too (Pontiac, Mi) so I’m a little nervous about them surviving
Hi. I lived in Pontiac as a child. Good luck with you plants.
