Started cute, turning ugly

I bought my Flow 2 years ago and it was pretty picturesque. The leaves were plump, shorter and overall more compacted. The new leaves have gradually been growing longer and thinner, and are much lighter in color than when I first got it. It gets direct sunlight about 3 hours a day and indirect 5-6 hours the rest of the day. Is it supposed to look so flimsy as it grows older?

@DesirableIvy no she should definitely look more like that. I've had mine about 3 years and he's always gotten at least 4-6 hours of direct sunlight every day, even in the winter with help from grow lights.
Is there a way to fix it? I finally got a grow light but I feel like it will need to chopped down in order to start growing the right way
