Any suggestions to repot this beautiful rescue plant ?

She has at least one new big leaf , and roots are showing from the bottom, she is currently on a ceramic self watering pot with a plastic pot inside, current soil is a mixture of coco coir perlite and orchid bark for what I can see. I would also add and that she is my first alocasia ever ❀️ and my level of expertise with alocasias is low despite that she is thriving under my care. I would like to add that I heard these plants are drama queens πŸ‘Έ and chose death over any inconvenience.

2ft to light, indirect
8” pot with drainage

Looks like a bigger pot is in order especially if the roots are filling and cycling around the pot. Here’s how to do it:

Repotting Steps Water First: Water your alocasia 1 to 2 days before repotting to help prevent transplant shock. Loosen Roots: Gently squeeze the pot to loosen the root ball, and carefully brush or wash away the old soil. Trim & Check: Snip off any dead, brown, or mushy roots with sterilized scissors. Plant Deeper: Set the plant low in the new pot and bury the stem to encourage new root growth higher up. Add Soil: Fill around the root ball with your chunky soil mix, tamping down gently to remove large air pockets. Water Well: Water the repotting project thoroughly until you see water running out of the bottom of the pot. 😊
@TimelessDaisy79 It looks like it is thriving to me! You can use regular organic potting soil with perlite and bark added. I’m not sure I agree that they are drama queens, they are the easiest plants I have! Just water them when they are about 3/4 of the way dry and give them bright indirect light and u are good to go! When I repot mine, I only remove the soil that falls away unless it is root bound. I set the entire root ball (most of the old included unless it’s really loose and just falls away or it is root bound and needs a little bit of loosing) into the new pot after I add soil to the bottom. Then I fill in with new soil making sure it’s nice and secure in there and I do add a little soil over top of the old soil line but not much. Then give her a drink and she is done done done πŸ₯³there are many ways to repot a plant and it’s left up to you to do what feels right for your baby. You got this!πŸͺ΄πŸŒΊπŸŒΈ

She was repot successfully, found 4 corms. Any advice on how to propagate those the best ?
