How do I know when to repot Loki my Ponytail Palm?

#PonytailPalm
1ft to light, direct
7” pot with drainage
Last watered 2 hours ago
It won't be for a while. They like to be root bound.
@AkDaydream Hi Jo Ellen! Welcome to Greg! If it were mine I would probably move into something a bit smaller- they like a sandy sort of soil with a lot of airflow. And @DynamoMahoe was right, they do like to be a bit root bound! Just make sure you allow it to completely dry out between waterings and give it bright filtered light and it will be good to go! Good Luck! πŸͺ΄πŸŒΏπŸŒΈπŸŒΊ
These do love to be root bound but also yours looks like it could use some more soil. Your soil should be at least to that line in the pot. Adding some more soil will give your ponytail some more nutrients as well for the growing season! Good luck!
