Help what do I do about this thing? I know it needs to be...

I was told that aloe vera are almost indestructible. That they are a desert plant that just lives and lives and thrives on abuse. If that’s so separate as much as you want get them into their own pots and watch them take over your yard.
@lordfarquaad (I *love* your name πŸ˜…) I’ve done this before! It’s not as bad as you would think! Get the plants out of that pot onto a potting mat, the ground, or whatever surface you want to use that you don’t mind getting soil all over. Get as much of the soil away from the roots as you can, and then for each pup, follow their base down to where they come out of the parent stem. (Not sure if β€˜stem’ is the technical word here πŸ€”) You can gently twist the pup off, and that’s it! Gently twist them all off!

I let all my pups sit out for a day before I repotted them into their own pots. Because you’re messing with roots, they can easily get damaged, so you want them to air dry (callous over), for a few days or so, before you pot them so that they don’t have areas susceptible to rot.

Good luck! Let us know how it goes ☺️ and feel free to tag me if you have questions along the way! 🀍🌿
Do not hesitate to repot it. It needs a bigger pot. I would check the roots and remove old dried or damaged roots. Then I’d just dry it for 5 days, and then pot it into new gritty succulents soil mix.
