Went to water Darwin today and noticed a new addition to his leaves??? What is it? How do I get rid of it???

Sounds possibly like scale. Have you seen any ants? οΏΌor other leaves gaining a minor mildew/mold sticky substance?
if yes, and it is scale, I eradicated a major infestation with Vaseline around the trunk of a plant and brushing them off with a wet brush.
iβm still not 100% convinced it scale are they on the stems of the plant also and did this leaf fall off by itself? οΏΌοΏΌ
about 100% eradicate the problem though and save my blood orange. The ants are going to the sticky substance and they defend the scales. From predator good bugs. The Vaseline around the trunk will stop them from crawling up the tree as long as nothing else is touching the plant. Bc you know ants will find a way.

@MamaLinne if it is scale brushing them off with a wet toothbrush and putting Vaseline around the base of the plant 100% will eradicate the problem. οΏΌ my blood orange tree was getting eaten alive. Lost 2 branches. This stopped everything in one application. And is thriving now About to have fruit οΏΌοΏΌοΏΌοΏΌοΏΌ
@OhGollyItsJolly agree to disagree. I wouldnβt put something thatβs based in crude oil on a plant tissue, esp a houseplant with thin leaves. It could block pores, trap bacteria, etc. But, to each their own, and Iβm glad itβs working for you! π₯°
