Curio cabinet grow lights tips

So I was gifted the cabinet and had no idea what to do with it since I don’t collect little things. Decided to turn it into a safe place for my plants. The window is north facing with a patio cover so not much natural light about 320 light index if I’m lucky. I put in some grow lights. I’ve been opening the blinds during the day and turning on the full spectrum grow lights for 6hrs at night on medium to low setting. This is only day 3 in the cabinet. I open the door every other day just to let some fresh air in and out. Since I’m new at plants and now venturing into grow light any tips? Anything I should watch out for? Is turning the lights on at night ok? The backs of the cabinet are mirrored as well, so I’ve been watching closely for scorching. I have a wandering dude,Pilea mollis + a pilea starter and soon a Chinese money plant inside. My spider plants is beyond happy on top with its own grow light (it’s flowering has 4 new offshoots with 4 spiderettes πŸ™Œ) thanks in advance!

I did this with one of mine! To me, it was much more functional with plants in it.

Unless you have an extremely high wattage for grill lights, I wouldn't be worried about scorching the plants. My grow lights come on at 7 AM and turn off at 8 PM each day.

I gave away the curio cabinet, but I kept my grandparents' old pie cabinet! οΏΌοΏΌ

in my experience, I don't worry about opening the doors unless I'm watering the plants. Many of my plants appreciate the humidity. οΏΌ
That is so awesome. Great idea
What a beautiful idea!
Since the cabinet’s made of wood, you need to make sure it has adequate ventilation. The wood can get kind of 😬 when it’s exposed to high humidity without ventilation.
