What is wrong with my plant?

Sometimes the leaves naturally fall off as they age. Have you changed anything with the plant to cause stress. It could potentially be a watering issue because the schedule on this app usually doesn’t match with what the plant actually should be getting. It could also be getting too much light since it’s direct. Those brown leaves could be scorched by the sun.
Hi Janet, looks like a watering and light issue. Cornstalks cannot handle the Texas sun. I’m a couple hours north of you- and all my plants are on my east facing porch getting dappled morning sun, and shaded afternoon (from 1pm on) light. We have to be careful here in Tx because the sun and heat coming in our windows can really scorch the leaves. And green is correct about the app and watering- I let all my dracaena dry out half way down the pot- I stick my fingers down (mine are very big lol), and if it feels damp or soil/wetness is on my fingers coming out of the soil- I wait. They do not like wet feet. That being said, our heat is drying my plants out way sooner than this app wants me to water. I use the water app as a guide to when the last time I watered- and I go from there. And yes, bottom leaves do fall off as plants grow- it’s a natural process, but yours aren’t all at the bottom. Can you tell me what kind of soil it’s in? Because your plant is sensitive to holding too much water around its roots, heavy or standard outdoor garden soils will suffocate it and cause root rot- so adding perlite and orchid bark to your soil will help tremendously. I mix 30% soil, 30% perlite, 30% orchid bark- and I add Worm Castings.
