Why does my peace lily look so droopy; and what's going o...

#PeaceLily
I found a couple of things online. One said drooping leaves can be caused by too much sun. However, if it's been in the same location and lighting hasn't changed, then...

If you haven't repotted your peace lily in a few years and its leaves are yellowing as well as drooping, it may be time to repot with fresh soil to replenish nutrients.

Yours does look quite full for the size pot it appears to be in.

And Repotting will give you the opportunity to check out the undercarriage to make sure it's not rotting from water issues, etc.

@FancyKohekohe No problem! Please indicate my answer as 'best answer' if it is helpful. ๐Ÿ˜. And welcome to Greg!! #greggang
Hi, @FancyKohekohe, what's the temperature for you all up there? I ask because your #Peacelily looks stressed, possibly from heat exhaustion (causing her leaves to be flat and shriveled) or overWATERing (causing her leaves to be droopy). While underWATERing can cause her to droop her leaves as well, the sunburned look on the upper leaves is concerning.

Does she sit outside all the time?

water!
When Peace Lily leaves are drooping like this they want more water!

Pictures are of my own Peace Lily before water and after.

Drooping is just what Peace Lilies do, they are their own water alarm. Give it a bit of water when it droops.

As for the yellow spots, I'm noticing 2 things it seems (from the picture) to be on the older outer leaves and on the inner younger leaves. The yellow on the older outer leaves could be too much direct light, or just from age. On the younger inner leaves they may not be getting enough light because they're crowded.

Because that pot is SO full it could also be a nutrients issue(?).
If you thin the plant out a bit it well help with over crowding in the pot. My big Peace Lily is excessively cut back, but if you cut some of the leaves to make room for new growth that will help with the crowding, cut the leaf just above the slit.
Definitely fixable, more water, more shade or indirect sunlight
Darker area, plop her in the sink and water until it comes through drainage holes, mist leaves and stems, get her a pebble tray for humidity. Hope this helps
