HELP GREG!

I've tried emailing, and I have not gotten a response back yet.I've tried deleting the app and re downloading it.Nothing seems to be working.I hit the subscribe button, and it doesn't do anything. I mean, i'm already subscribed, so I don't know why I was kicked off of that feature in the first place.And I don't know how to fix it on my end.I need greg tech support. Honestly, I don't know why this app continues. Doing this to me every few months. Does anybody else struggle with this app Like this?

I actually just noticed it did this to me too!! If you receive an answer, please keep us updated! I can’t figure out what’s going on, and I can’t update my plants after watering or even see who needs to be watered
My app is like this today for the first time also

Mine’s out too I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s the Amazon outage AWS I heard about it earlier today

Just happened to me too, and I used it to water this morning. I'm betting it's the AWS outage. Wait til that's resolved first.
It did this to me today too. But I’d actually canceled the subscription except it doesn’t end until December 24 🙄🙄🙄

I just clicked on it, and it allows you to turn on water/fertilizer etc- but it’s asking you to pay. Seriously? I just paid my 2nd yearly membership. I won’t pay anymore.
I’m experiencing the same problem. And I’m a paid user. Hopefully, a glitch that is fixed soon!!

Same here, I assume like someone else has said it could have to do with the Amazon outage. Anything to do with them is not working at all for me today. Sus, don’t like this at all 👀

Well it just got worse. Now, plants that i've had for years are saying they are not in the system or not.Logged in the system.The watering schedule is all messed up....😭
I cannot emotionally handle this. I need this fixed and running back to normal.

Had issues with Amazon all morning, then try to log into my work platform and they’re having major outages today, now this….🤦🏼‍♀️😅

@shopofhorrors No worries it’s just encouraging people not subscribing to do so . It’s a bit annoying and will hopefully go away. It isn’t interfering with your schedule like it seems.

My MIL and I are both having the same issue. It’s says my subscription expires in 2026. I’m assuming it’s the Amazon servers issue.

Weirdly, I’m glad it isn’t just me lol! Might be an issue due to the AWS problem from earlier…I’m sure the Greg team are trying to get it sorted ASAP but think I will email them if it’s still out tomorrow. :-)

My app is broken too. I resubscribed in early September and it's telling me I'm not subscribed.
I think we all may be like that… And now I can’t remember which plant I need to water but I definitely know I have some due today 🤣 Here’s to a quick fix! 🤞🏼

This must be an app-wide problem. I’m struggling trying to fix this now — I pressed the restore subscription button, logged out and back in, deleted and redownloaded the app, restarted my phone, anything you can think of an there’s no fix. Seeing this thread makes me feel better knowing it’s probably a bug in the app.

It did this to me today too.
I fid turn smart care on
If it's the same, i got kicked off the app completely lol. App logged me out and i couldn't log back in for hours yest. Not a subscriber too
I read that this is actually an Amazon server issue (AWS) not Greg specifically. We are all waiting for am update.
If this is the least of our problems I say...just be grateful!!!!

A finger to put into a plant's soil to see if it needs watering and paper, pen to record that
Water
Food
Shelter

We are not experiencing...
War
Starvation

This is not the end of the world yet, people.
@CutePolypremum when you have more than 100 plants its nearly impossible. Thats why we pay for this app.
My app is still not working. And i don't use how the Amazon server is connected. All my other apps that is not related to Amazon didn't crash this hard. This is the only app that is having issues. So im confused. Unless greg is on their server. But mine isnt working. I'm still unsubcribed. Even plants ive had for a while now are now not logged into my account....

Yes...it's tough because you have a lot of plants.
For myself, I can sometimes tell by looking at or picking up a plant to see if it needs watering.
I rely on Greg for water reminders but don't use it 100 percent.
If Greg says a plant needs watering, I double check with a water meter.
Even though my plants may need watering, I've discovered that they can go 2 to 3 days more without water...and they don't stress.
We get a lot more out of Greg than the few cents we pay daily for it.

1. If you're currently facing any issues, please try closing the app.
Force close the Greg app
On iPhone: Swipe up from the bottom and swipe Greg off the screen.
On Android: Go to Settings > Apps > Greg > Force Stop.

2.Restart your device completely
3. Download it again from the App Store or Google Play Store.

Uninstall the app and download it again from the App Store or Google Play Store.
