What are these bumps?

I haven’t posted in a while but I was just checking on my plants and I saw that my ivy was browning on some leaves but when I looked at the stem of one of the off shoots I noticed these little bumps on it that burst when pressed on and yellow liquid comes out. I just need someone with more plant knowledge to tell me what this is and how to deal with it. @MamaLinne yeah, can’t totally tell bc it is out of focus, but the coloring and outline looks like scale to me. It may be easier/safer to just root a cutting of the ivy and dispose of the plant in its pot in a sealed trash bag.
@Vivisplantzz I agree that it looks like scale. Honestly Ive given up on ivy because pests seem to like it so much 😕 I know others have good luck with it, but not me! 😂
