Is there any saving my baby redwood?

A few months ago, I got one of those tiny redwoods that are sold in the plastic containers and brought him home. In the past month though, he’s completely yellowed and the leaves are dry to the touch. I think I’m watering him enough, and for a stint I even covered him with a mason jar for humidity (I don’t think it did anything, though) Anyone got any ideas? I’m not experienced with these plants, but I really don’t want him to die :’) #PlantClinic #PlantGraveyard #PlantAddict #Trees

You can try pruning it back to right before the first layer of leaves starts. That way, as it grows up, it can grow into its original shape.
@Catplantaddict Would the first layer of leaves be at the bottom, or the ones closer to the trunk? Thanks so much for helping :)
@KeenGrugrupalm the ones at the bottom, closest to the trunk.
