Best way to propagate my Hoya Obovata? #Hoya #Propagation...

I’ve got one in perlite humidity situation and one in a good mix of potting soil and perlite. I really am just playing it by ear and going with what I’ve seen on reddit but I’m worried im going to kill them. These things are massive and I would love to get them both rooted!
I’m successfully propagating my Hoya in water with root supplement. It grew so many nodules that I think are actually roots. I’m not sure if that helps.
I’ve had the best success propping hoyas in a prop box kind of situation, which it seems like you have going on with your perlite setup.
Of all the setups, planting directly in soil has been the least successful for me me.
So to answer your question, I feel the perlite with humidity setup will root these hoya best. Perhaps, however, a different setup could prove even more successful as the humidity approach works best if it is applied to the entire plant. Filling a small pot or cut with perlite and some water, placing the plant in it, placing the entire setup into a large ziploc bag, and blowing up the bag so it is about as large as it can get, I find this easiest to do with a straw, could be a different setup you could try.
@plantt wow thank you! I’m going to have to get some bigger bags at the store tomorrow! I think I’ll try this method out on the two leaf node
@PlantSuccer I had heard I might have issues with rot in water but I’ve got some root supplement here I think I’ll try out with water on the single leaf node
I rooted mine in water with no problem! No hormones either:) good luck they are beautiful
I’ve just done water and it’s been just fine.
I grew a small obvata cutting in sphagnum moss, she's doing great. Your cutting is stunning
