Can it recover?

So I've been taking care of this Peace Lily for a while now, almost a year, but there was a period where it dried up significantly and I had to trim a lot of dead parts off. It stayed in a glazed clay pot for a while, but a few days ago, I repotted it into a plastic, smaller, more breathable one. However, I'm a bit confused since it looks as if it's sprouting new leaves which still haven't extended yet (are curled up), but also some of the older ones are drying up, and even if I trimmed the dried parts so the plant doesn't waste energy to try and repair them, they still continue to dry. And I'm wondering if there is anything I can do so the plant recovers better? Or any tips on how to take care of such a plant?

I’m no expert at all, but I’ve had a peace lilly I’ve been rescuing for a while and I’ve got it to bloom a flower, my advice would be maybe add a lot more of perlite to the soil so it’s very breathable, be very careful how much you water it especially with the new leaves and lots of indirect light, I think 13ft might be too far away? Be careful there’s no heaters and fans near it as I’ve found it’s a very very delicate and dramatic plant, sometimes you just gotta water it and leave it to do its thing, o found mine took a while to adjust after repotting aswell so lots of patience, maybe add some slow releasing fertiliser to the water when you next water it and let the soil properly dry out, like I said I’m no expert at all but hopefully that helps in som capacity :)
