Haworthia cooperi’s stuck?
Hello plant people 🪴 my H. cooperi is doing nothing, again. I was told some time ago that she would start to do something after summer’s dormancy, but now it’s almost winter time here and nothing seems to be happening — except perhaps for a very tiny growth of one of her babies, but nothing exceptional. She’s placed always indoor in the same spot, right near a north-east facing window. Any advice from experts? I’m absolutely astonished by her refusal to give a hint of.. well, something. 😳 #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #SucculentLove #Haworthia
I mean, succulents are very slow growers. You won’t see anything drastic every single day, it’s more of a “you’ll notice some change after a handful of months!” type of plant… but even that little bit of change is still not going to be much crazy.
Ones that I notice more change in are the tree-like ones, like jades! You’ll see the leaves sprout more often. Haworthias are kinda hard to see big change for a while. They just generally get magically bigger over time.

@itsjordan @BEsucculent yeah, well, I remember the spring I first got her she had been growing like crazy, putting out babies and sizing up.. I could literally see that 😳 however she’s gone silent after that outburst of energy, so I wonder whether it was a way to adapt to her new environment. That’s why I’m wondering about her stone-like life now. However, I’m happy she looks healthy! If you’ve got any other advice, thx in advance 🪴
@slayonium omg that’s absolutely the least thing I would have thought about!! I hope you’re sure of that, cause I’m immediately gonna drown her 😂 jk however wow, I was actually scared to water her too much cause I don’t want her to rot.. I’ll start to increase waterings then, and see how it goes! Thx! 😳
