fertilizer type/plant tips

i used to have a much larger one that was located in a greenhouse and thrived there. i gave that one away and kept the smaller of the two plants. i’ve since moved and no longer have access to the greenhouse. the plant i kept hasn’t lost any leaves but keeps browning and getting crispy (?). i’ve tried everything i can to stop this but nothing seems to work. any tips? i’d also like to know which type of fertilizer would be best. i got the plant from someone special to me so i really don’t want it to die! #DutchmansPipe #NightBloomingCereus
Do you have photos of the plant you could post please.
@RJG any suggestions or other Greg members who might be able to help
@KDkat3 hm I'm not familiar with this plant. Is it a Dutchman's pipe?
@RJG I am not either but I don’t want anyone to lose a sentimental plant so I was hoping to find someone who knows more
I have had good success with one I adopted about 6-8 years ago. I have never used fertilizer because mine grows like crazy. I see a leaf sprouting so you are on the right track. Things I would check for : Is it protected from frost? Is it getting sunburnt? Does it have drainage? Can you tell me more about where it sets, light, water, soil it's in, when it was last transplanted?
