HELP!

My cardinal philodendron has been happy and thriving for the past year and a half almost 2 years! Unfortunately, within the past month, actually probably the past two weeks she began drooping and turning brown. I have not changed anything including my watering routine. I have no idea. I would think it was something to do with water, but I have no clue help me before I lose her. She was gorgeous ! I have included a picture before she started drooping. She’s behind the Monstera #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #Philadendron #sickplants #PlantTherapy #PlantCorner
Hello Jean. These may be possible reasons. Good luck.😁 Check Soil Moisture: Insert your finger into the soil. If it feels wet, consider reducing watering. If dry, water thoroughly.
Assess Pot Weight: A heavy pot indicates overwatering, while a light pot suggests underwatering.
Evaluate Light Conditions: Ensure the plant receives bright, indirect light. Move it if necessary.
Monitor Temperature: Keep the plant away from drafts and extreme temperature changes.
Inspect for Disturbances: If the plant was recently repotted, maintain stable conditions to help it adjust.
@StarCoralcactus Hi Jean! If it were mine, I would take it out of that soil, check the roots and amount of water gathered at the bottom of the pot and replant it in a fresh pot and soil- that way, you have pretty much started over and if the problem was in the soil, it will be gone! Just do ur best not to touch or bother the root ball too much, just as little as is necessary getting as much of the old soil off that you can. Good Luck to you and Happy 4th!🪴🌺🌸
