Ive moved her to a place where she gets the cooler mornin...

#TradescantiaNanouk
14โ€ pot with drainage
Last watered 5 days ago
I used to have one of these plants and I would keep it in my window sill with brigh indirect light. What kind of soil are you using and how often are you watering it?
I also had mine in regular potting soil
Who know who is great with this hold on and tag her
@stephongreg, this is who I would ask any questions about Tradescantia.
@MarvelFicus38 Thatโ€™s a really big pot for such a little plant, maybe the soil is staying too wet 4-5 inches deep?
@Succulent_Soul its regular potting soil. Ive only had her for a week so shes been watering twice. Once when ii first got her and today. Im listening to the app on watering
@Ponytailmom maybe?this is only her second time being watered, i got her a week ago
@MarvelFicus38 ohh ok was she in a lower lit place before? I would mover her to a smaller pot to help avoid root rot.
@Idplantthat thank you for the tag! @MarvelFicus38 sorry I'm just now seeing this. I agree with others, you need to move this into a much smaller pot and mix a bunch of perlite into the soil. Between the pot size and the dense soil, I'm worried it's going to rot.
I had trouble with mine too so I put it on my sunporch and it gets some direct sun in the afternoon. I water it when the soil dries and it looks great
