Very rarely- as in all the way dry. Mine are near a south window in cactus soil and Terra cotta pots, and I water them about once a month. Your soil, if truly carnivorous soil, will hold too much water. I’d suggest a soil for cactus, and take it out of glazed clay and put into Terra cotta which can pull excess moisture out and help avoid root rot.
