Can you give some info on what issues you've been experiencing? Just based on the photo, my first guess would be that her soil is staying damp too long. Glazed clay pots are non-porous, which keeps the soil moist for too long, plus that pot's sides are awfully thick which doesn't help either. Peperomia should be treated like succulents โ they need their soil to completely dry out between waterings and will start to rot if left sitting in wet soil for too long. Also, your plant card says she's 10 feet from the window but getting direct light, is that correct?
@stephonicle lots of yellowing and dried leaves, lots falling off as well. i try to let the top inch or so of soil dry out before watering. but yes about 10 or so feet and the afternoon sun
@QueenGriffin51 this is my second one!! the first one was thriving but didnโt survive moving and i wanted another but itโs not doing good
i recently lost mine! seemed to thrive when i ignored it, then i started watering it! definitely wait until more than just the top inch is dry, @stephonicle explains it well above.
@ribbit I agree with @LoyalYellowrose about letting more than just the top inch dry out. A moisture meter or even a wooden chopstick is helpful for checking how wet the soil is further down in the pot, because even if the soil is dry on the surface it can still be quite damp down by the roots. I've found planting things directly in decorative pots, even ones that have drainage holes, will often lead to overwatering/root rot issues due to the lack of airflow. You can still use these pots, they're just better as "cache" pots, which means the plant goes in a separate plastic nursery pot that you set inside the decorative pot. Just make sure the plastic pot doesn't fit too snugly inside the other. Leaving a 1/2"-1" gap between the two pots allows for better airflow and will help the soil dry out faster.
Also wanted to mention that "overwatering" isn't necessarily about watering too much or too often, it's also about how quickly/slowly the soil dries out between waterings. The ideal setup for a peperomia is the one that allows soil to dry out the fastest ๐

@stephonicle what would be an ideal pot for a peperomia? is it possible to repot and revive her?
